About Us · Online Livestock Markets

Kenya's online meeting place for livestock: farmers, traders and families find each other, agree a deal, and settle it directly — with the platform keeping the process organised, visible and safe.

What we do

Livestock trade in Kenya happens at markets on set days, which means long journeys and uncertainty about what is available. We put the market online: sellers list animals with photos, price, age, weight and location; buyers browse by category and county, make offers or bid in auctions, and arrange to meet.

How the system works

  1. RegisterCreate a free account and say what you are: a farmer / seller, a commercial buyer or agent, or a buyer who wants to rear animals. You accept the consent form: verify before you pay, no scamming.
  2. ListThe seller posts an animal as fixed price (receives offers) or auction (highest bid wins), pins where it is, and (if a listing fee applies) pays it by M-Pesa to go live.
  3. Show interestA buyer sends an offer or places a bid. The seller is told by email and SMS the animal, amount, time and the buyer's area — never the name or contacts.
  4. Unlock contactsEach side pays a small fee (now KES 100) by M-Pesa to see the other's name and phone. The buyer then also sees the exact pickup point and a map link.
  5. Meet & verifyBuyer and seller meet. The buyer inspects the animal. Payment for the animal is made only when the buyer is satisfied, directly to the seller.
  6. Rate & reportEach side rates the other after a deal. Anything wrong goes to the administrators through Raise a concern; scammers are banned. Completed deals appear in the weekly results.
